Welcome to the Dayton Area Defense Community's website for Defense Related Jobs and Job Seekers - DaytonDefenseCareers.com. This website is designed to match the unique job requirements of the regional defense industry with those individuals qualified and capable of meeting these requirements. We especially seek and welcome former and retiring members of the military seeking employment in the Dayton region. The Dayton Area Defense Contractors Association (DADCA) was a strong supporter of recently passed House Bill 372 that, among other valuable benefits, exempts military retirement pay from Ohio State income tax. DADCA supported passage of this bill because the defense community is keenly aware of the unique skills and capabilities our military members offer to our community and the need for retention of this talented workforce. As a former and/or retired member of our armed services, we thank you for your service to our country and extend to you this invitation to join your many colleagues who have chosen to live and work in Ohio. We also encourage you to use this website to join the regional defense contractor community supporting the active members of the armed forces and their civilian colleagues in sustaining America's unmatched defense capability.

How does an Employer post jobs to the site?
As a benefit of being a DADCA member, organizations have the opportunity to post their job openings to the site directly from their own website, through a special software package offered by MyCareerNetwork.com, the company that also powers www.GreaterDaytonWorks.com, the Dayton Area Community Job Portal. For more information, click here to fill out an employer information request.
Once the jobs are posted to DaytonDefenseCareers.com, they are also automatically cross-posted on www.GreaterDaytonWorks.com, which is also operated by MyCareerNetwork.com.
Jobs advertised on the site are linked directly back to the employers website, which allows job seekers to quickly and effortlessly learn about the job, the opportunity and the company itself.
From here, a job seeker can submit their résumé online. When a résumé has been submitted, the employer automatically receives it and an electronic notice is sent to the job seeker stating that his/her résumé has been received.
